Astrology, Tarot Cards And All That Crap……….

My cousin Sharon inspired me to write this.

The Bible talks about false gods and religions. These things come from those sources. They are all occultic. An occult means something hidden what’s hidden is satan and something that seems so innocent is actually satanic.

Everything has an origin. It originated somewhere but would you be in agreement with its origins if you really knew?

History of astrology

Origins of Astrology

August 11, 2019by

Zodiac Signs

Astral has two meanings, and one is the resemblance with the stars. The other is associated with the non-physical realm of existence within which the hidden knowledge, more quaintly associated through psychic, spiritual and paranormal connections, resides.

These two meanings might appear to be mutually exclusive. However, the core of astrology is the combination of the two. The sky is infinity; its mysteries are beyond physical comprehension.

As we are on the ground, the object within our perception is up to scale, and therefore, we can relate to it and comprehend its very intricacy. However, with the sky, comprehension can be tantamount to ignorance as its vastness can only have a spiritual meaning. This is how Astrology was birthed. It came into existence through the desire to understand its vastness and its effects on our human lives. While misrepresented as pseudo-science, its intricacies that are present is vast, and its origins can be traced back from 3000 BC.

Mesopotamia and Babylonians

While the Vedic Astrology is believed to be a lot older 4000 years old, it is Mesopotamia that started peeking into the vastness of space with spiritual perception. It began in early 3000 BC. It was the time when constellations were seen and categorised as they were. The Sky Watchers of Mesopotamia identified the five wandering stars and combined it with the sun and the moon. Together, they were the seven planets. The word planet also came from Greek spirituality meaning “Wanderers” in Greek.

Within the Mesopotamia, a civilisation grew and flourished, and the first philosophers of astronomy were born. They were the first astronomers that gifted us with the two most important measures of time: the minutes and the numbers. They derived it from the number system, and in their enthusiasm, they also established the first concept of Zodiac.

Zodiac refers to a system of constellations. The Babylonians had a realisation that the Zodiac through which the sun, the moon and other planets appear to move on their passage through the heavens, can act as a yardstick of time. However, for that to happen, it has to be divided into equal and recognisable segments. This was when they selected 12 different constellations. Many of these constellations were identified as animals. Later the Greeks arrived and provided a more suitable term to the Zodiac, the Zodiakos Kyklos (animal circle).

In ancient times, Astrology wasn’t seen as a pseudo-science because it was the Zodiac that acted as a common thread that connected astrologers and astronomers. For the astrologers, they looked at it through their spiritual perception, believing that it was their links with gods. As for the astronomers, they were interested in the positions of stars. Together, both the sciences melded and used Zodiac for many millennia to come.

The arrival of the Greeks into the astrology fold

Greeks took to astrology and astronomy starting from 6th Century BC. They, in turn, made significant contributions in both the fields. Through their scientific mindset, they took a peek into the skies and came up with insights of the heavens whose brilliance can only be understated. However, much of the later astronomers from Europe ignored it and observed the stars through the Ptolemaic (named after king Ptolemy, Cleopatra’s brother) system. This was the time when astronomy began to diverge from astrology. For even if the entire matter was as scientific as one can imagine, individuals were still not ready for it.

Astrology, on the other hand, found a new footing. Through astrology, the benefits of the vitality and range of Greek gods soon was observed. When linked with planets and constellations, the entire prospect of divinities was seen through a uniquely exciting eye. It was dramatic and exciting, and everyone began showing interest in it. As a result, the range of astrologers extended. While it started with merely aiding with the day to day affairs of the state, the predictions that it sought to make made a lasting impression on the men and women.

As you can imagine, predicting the future was not something considered wisely back then. And more or less, the Greek civilisation suffered as a result of it.

India and the Birth of Vedic Astrology

India’s history when it comes to Vedic astrology is believed to be more than six millennia old. However, if the evidence is to be considered, it came as early as 1000 BC. Bearing a Greek influence, it came into existence during the Hellenistic period. It is then that India started integrating the western version of the zodiac.

One can say that it all started with the Greeks. Just as it was happening in India, it started happening in Arabian countries as well. As the influx of forgotten Greek texts started to pour in, it was the golden age of the astrologers.

However, apprehensions and new knowledge brought in the age of reason and age of science. The appeal of this ancient art started to decline. However, one with the link to spirituality understands the virility of the movement of constellations, and therefore, in India, astrology persists as one of the most intricate and spiritual beliefs. The Indian culture is steeped in spirituality and astrology is an intrinsic part of it. There are no major decisions taken unless the signs say so, and no marriages come into fruition unless proper horoscopes (Janam patri) are drawn up.

However, Jothishi believes that astrology, as innately powerful as it is, can be addicting. Therefore, our experts are geared towards ensuring that you move through life with a spiritual connection where your actions are a consequence of your own choices.

That being said, the Greek astrology culture resonated through the entire globe and countries like China, Iran, India, and many other’s foundations were laid upon through astrology.

To understand the philosophy of astrology, and Jothishi, one must strive to look upon its impact on other cultures as well.

Astrology[N]

In the early history of humanity, astrology and astronomy were closely related. The latter dealt with the movements of heavenly bodies, while the former attempted to interpret the possible effects that these might have upon earth’s inhabitants. In Babylonia, where astrology had its origins, considerable importance was attached to such phenomena as eclipses and meteors, to say nothing of planetary movements. Individual stars and constellations were given names, and when they began to be worshiped as gods, the way was opened for astrologers to make predictions as to how people on earth might be affected.

In the second millennium b.c., Babylonian astrologers drew up horoscopes indicating what might be expected to happen in each month. Once twelve of these menologies had been compiled, they were used year after year without change. The superstitious Babylonians also devised the zodiac, a division of the celestial sphere into twelve equal parts known as signs or houses, which were named after the sun, moon, and principal planets. By the late fourth century b.c., Mesopotamian astrology had spread to Greece, and about a century later was adopted widely by the Egyptians. When Greek culture was absorbed by the Romans, astrology assumed the form of a religion, and its practitioners began to design individual horoscopes.

The Old Testament While some have asserted that the twelvefold blessing pronounced by Jacob on his sons ( Gen 49:1-28 ) had some astrological significance, there is nowhere in the material any mention of the possible influence of heavenly bodies. The Israelites were forbidden to worship stars ( Deu 9:14 ), this being seen as an offshoot of astrological speculation. Several centuries later, the influence of Mesopotamian star adulation was being experienced in Israel, causing Amos to condemn the northern kingdom’s worship of Saturn ( 5:26 ). Jeremiah also referred to the pagan veneration of Ishtar or Venus ( 7:18 ; 44:17-19 ) as well as celestial bodies generally ( 8:2 ;  19:13 ). Isaiah was the first to refer specifically to astrologers and their activities ( 47:13 ), and in his prophecy he predicted their destruction, saying that “the fire will burn them up” ( 47:14 ).

Daniel seems to have been familiar with astrologers ( 2:27 ;  4:7 ) and with their inability to interpret the king’s dreams. Some writers have suggested that the term “Chaldean, ” used to describe the wise men of Babylon who acted as astrologers, had actually been written galdu, “astrologers, ” by Daniel, but later on was transcribed incorrectly as kaldu, since by then Chaldea (mat Kaldu) had become known as the place where they flourished. Daniel repudiated their supposed abilities by declaring that only God can be regarded as the true source of revelations concerning the future ( 5:14-16 ).

Some two centuries before Christ was born, astrology gained a foothold in Jewish religion, when identification of certain angels with stars and planets came into vogue. Although the tradition was repudiated in Wisdom 13:1-4, it had already become impossible to halt the Jewish fascination with astrology. The remains of a Byzantine synagogue floor, unearthed at sixth-century a.d. levels at Beth Alpha in Palestine, included a mosaic in the form of a zodiac, thus showing the extent to which astrology had infiltrated religious architecture.

The New Testament It is against the intertestamental period’s concern with angels and elemental spirits that the influence of astrology on early Christianity must be assessed. What may have been an example of celestial phenomena being given an astrological interpretation involved the appearance of an unusual star in the heavens. Such occurrences were not entirely unknown in antiquity, and sometimes were taken as pointing to the birth of a famous person, such as Alexander the Great. Thus the Mesopotamian magi ( Matt 2:1-2 ), who were most probably professional astrologers, were able to both reassure and alarm Herod by offering him astrological reasons for their journey. The star has been a matter of debate also. The magi spoke of it as a single entity, but some scholars have regarded it as a conjunction of Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn. Others prefer the translation “in its ascendancy” to the traditional “in the east.” If the star was a single celestial body, it could possibly have been a nova in its final stage of existence, but this cannot be demonstrated. The Greek word magoi [mavgo”] appears again in ac 8:9 and 13:6-8, to describe magicians rather than astrologers.

There could possibly be a reference to the worship of angelic beings in some of Paul’s writings, notably in Galatians 4:3 and Colossians 2:15, 20, where the veneration of celestial bodies, particularly among Colossian Christians, was being condemned. Less probably is the speculation that the depth (Gk. bathos [bavqo”]) and height (Gk. hypsoma[u&ywma]) as in Romans 8:39 can be interpreted astrologically. If anything, they are astronomical terms intended to denote space in relation to the earth. It would thus appear that the New Testament contains no explicit statements that would support the practice of astrology. While some have argued that the magi’s visit to Bethlehem gives proper credence to the value of astrology, the fact is that, from a theological perspective, the obedient believer is led in life by the Holy Spirit, who was promised by Christ as the one who would guide the godly into all truth ( John 16:13 ).

Anthropologists and others have observed that when religion declines in a culture it is replaced by superstition. Consequently, it is only to be expected that when people fall away from the faith once delivered to the saints they will place increasing trust in such astrological devices as horoscopes. Part of the popularity of these ancient Mesopotamian devices is that they are seen to afford a possible glimpse into the immediate future. It is unhappily true that they are immensely popular among superstitious persons, and are given wide circulation in the press. It is almost unbelievable that some scientists, who above all others insist upon a pragmatic, empirical approach to their work that is devoid of any possible religious influence, should consult their horoscopes each morning before undertaking the day’s responsibilities.

Many of those in bondage to horoscopes argue that nowadays the stars are not consulted, but that instead the predictions are formulated mathematically, and customized to accommodate the latitude and longitude of particular individuals. Christians need to reject such spurious “science, ” and commit their way consistently to the continual guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Tarot (/ˈtæroʊ/, first known as trionfi and later as tarocchi or tarock) is a pack of playing cards, used from at least the mid-15th century in various parts of Europe to play games such as Italiantarocchini, French tarotand Austrian Königrufen, many of which are still played today. In the late 18th century, some tarot decks began to be used for divination via tarot card reading and cartomancy leading to custom decks developed for such occultpurposes.[1]

Divination[N][T][E][S]

Communication with a deity for the purpose of determining the deity’s knowledge, resulting in clarification of a decision or discernment of the future. Two forms of divination developed in the ancient Near East, one using inductive manipulation of natural or human phenomena and the other taking intuitive forms of inner revelation.

The History of Divination. In Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Egypt, and Canaan, people communicated with their deities by means of divination, both on a personal and public level. From the Old Babylonian period (ca. 2000 b.c.) on in Mesopotamia, the reading of livers helped determine the actions of commoners and kings. A sheep was slaughtered, its liver removed, and the markings of the organ “read” for an answer. Other inductive types of divination included the analysis of stars, moon, entrails, lungs, weather, birds, and fetuses. Human-produced phenomena studied included casting lots, shooting arrows, dropping oil in water, drinking wine, calling the dead, and sprinkling water on an ox. Intuitive types of divination in the ancient Near East involved oracles, prophecies, and dreams.

In Israel, an official position on divination limited its uses to forms that did not reflect the practices of surrounding cultures. Most inductive forms were forbidden ( Lev 19:26 ; Deut 18:11 ), although the use of Urim and Thummim and lots supposes some inductive approaches. Most ancient practices, however, were used by both the populace and the officials. The Bible alludes to the use of omens ( Isa 44:25 ), arrows ( Ho 4:12 ), animal actions ( 1 Sam 6:7-12 ), the reading of livers ( Eze 21:21-22 ), budding plants ( Num 17:1-11 ), necromancy ( 1 Sam 28 ), and prophetic utterances, called false ( Micah 3:7  Micah 3:11 ) or “lying divinations” ( Isa 44:25 ;  Jer 14:14 ; 27:9-10 ;  Ezek 12:24 ;  Zech 10:2 ). References to the “soothsayers’ tree” ( Judges 9:37 ), the “sons of a sorcerer” ( Isa 57:3 ), and the girl with a spirit of divination ( Acts 16:16-19 ) are evidence of widespread practice.

Theology of Divination. Divination presupposes that the divine communicates with the human. This communication takes both human and divine initiative. Inductive techniques depend on human initiation. The Bible supposes that a priority rests on revelatory forms (dream, vision, oracle) rather than on inductive ones (Urim/ Thummim, ephod). Although natural phenomena may communicate God’s will, their interpretation must be scrutinized and may be helped by the verbal. It seems clear that God is not limited to the use of any one means of revelation.

Why would the Bible record such strong negative injunctions against inductive divination? Deuteronomic law especially attacks everything connected with pagan religions. Foreign deities may have attached themselves to these methods. Even then, most of Israel’s approved methods display parallels with the surrounding cultures. The question of veracity may be involved because they prove difficult to interpret. For this reason, verbal forms take precedence over inductive methods. Yet even prophecies need to stand the test of whether they come true ( Deut 18:21-22 ).

Human need requires discernment of divine desires. God chooses to communicate in a variety of ways, including divination techniques, but always in the clearest, most unambiguous way possible.

Why Christians should not celebrate Halloween

This was taken from an article see all information below.

Halloween is a devil’s holiday, not a Christian observance

25 OCTOBER 2019, NILA ESLITHalloween

The founder of the church of Satan said that by dressing up, either by wearing a costume or coloring oneself for Halloween, is tantamount to worshipping the devil.

Anton LaVey, the founder of the church of Satan, himself declared that by dressing up, either by wearing a costume or by coloring oneself in celebration of Halloween, signifies that you allow Satan to own you. He further said that when you adopt the pagan practices, you subconsciously dedicate yourself to the devil. He took joy in Christians who take part in the tradition, saying:

I am glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year. Welcome to Halloween.

LaVey’s statement is corroborated by a former Satanist, John Ramirez, who said that when you dress up even as an angel or a mermaid for Halloween, “you give the devil the legal rights to change your identity.” Ramirez further warned that there’s a much darker reality in Halloween beyond costumes and candy. The former Satanist turned Christian pastor said in an interview on CBS News (October 20, 2018):

I was a general to the kingdom of darkness in witchcraft. I would sit with the devil and talk to him like I’m talking to you today. It was that kind of communication. It was that kind of relationship.

Christian teaching

With more than 2.2 billion adherents, Christianity comprises about 31.50% among all the organized religions in the world. And, based on a CBN News Facebook survey, 87% expressed that Christians should not celebrate Halloween, while 13% believe that there’s no problem celebrating it.

Christians are taught to be the light of the world. In one of the Scripture passages, we are instructed thus:

You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly father.

(Matthew 5:14-16)

Therefore, Christian believers have the moral responsibility to educate their children regarding the evil that comes with Halloween pumpkins, costumes, and the Trick-or-Treat tradition. Adults should likewise lead by example to the young ones.

Halloween history

The origin of Halloween can be traced back to the Celtic festival of Samhain. It’s a tradition held at the end of summer when sacrifices were made to the gods in Druid tradition. The adherents believed that Samhain, the god of death, scattered evil spirits during this time throughout the world to attack humans. These evil spirits play nasty tricks as soon as the dark winter and the waning of the sun set in.

To escape the attack, humans would assume disguises and make themselves look like evil spirits, too.

Halloween is also the favorite time of year for witches, or the advocates of Wicca. Wicca is the official religion of witchcraft. Wiccan adherents believe that on the night of October 31, the separation of physical and spiritual realities is at its thinnest and least guarded. And so, it’s the best time for those who have necromantic abilities to speak to the dead.

Pagan Halloween and Christian tradition

As Christianity spread through Europe, it came into conflict with the indigenous pagan beliefs. The organized church basically challenged the established customs by trying to introduce Christian alternatives. Although Christianity gained some converts, many were adamant. And so, the missionaries succeeded only in “Christianizing” pagan rituals. They were only able to introduce Christian symbols and practices to the pagan traditions, like the All Hallows Eve remembrance.

The missionaries injected the All Saints’ Day concept into the pagan Halloween celebration. They introduced the evening before All Saints’ Day as All Hallows Eve, when the time of solemn remembrance of the martyrs begins. The term was derived from “Hallowed”, which means holy. All Hallows Eve was shortened to “Hallow-e’en”, which eventually became “Halloween” over the years. The only difference between the two practices is that the early Christians’ observance of the Halloween never involved wearing costumes. It was rather a solemn event focused on prayer and meditation.

Sadly though, the pagan practices held a remarkably strong influence that some of the new converts were unable to abandon their old customs altogether. Over the years, other Christians adopted those customs, too. Besides, commercialization came into play. Thus, the practice of trick-or-treat, costumes, adornments, and make-up or body coloring is very much alive even up to the present.

Call to action

Christians are actually capable of reversing the evil of Halloween if, and only if, each one would live by the teachings of the One on whom they profess their faith. Parents should teach their children the appropriate way to commemorate All Saints Day.

Avatars For Your Profile Aren’t As Innocent As You Think

This is from a friend on Facebook

Vinson Spann https://www.facebook.com/vinson.spann.52

Here it is Not to ruin your fun sorry fir being the messenger AVATAR (Giving Deities the permission to represent you)

Many people are giving in to Avatar games on the computer, and some of my acquaintances on Facebook are doing the same. This is becoming a trend or fad. The thing I’m beginning to see on Facebook is this cartoon version of yourself, with “YOU” declaring “my Avatar”. Many children are being harassed by demons who willingly accept the offer given to them by the children to represent them (During games). These people have no idea what they are conjuring up.

What is an Avatar? I first heard of this Name while in Seminary, and when I found out what it meant, I was shocked. An Avatar is; The descent of a deity to earth in an incarnate form or manifested shape. It is an embodiment or personification of a thing. Some believe they are Reptilians shapeshifted into humans. This thing must be summoned, called, or conjured up. And when it comes, it descends upon the conjurer. It’s closely associated with Necromancy (Conjuring up the dead). This also is similar to the Ouija board !!! This is likened unto dabbling in the occult !!

In digital technology; it is a graphic image that represents a person, as on the internet. Eventually this thing will wanna be you !

Hindus know the truth of this matter. The bottom line is, Avatars are demons. PERIOD !!!!

There are many other games that Facebook is using to trick or lure people into astrology and divination. With things like: “What will my child look like”? Or who ‘s character that I represent in the Bible? This is fortune telling !!!! According to Deuteronomy chapter 18, this is an abomination before God.

To those who are practicing “My Avatar”, will be visited by deities who are looking for someone to POSSESS !!! Some things on Facebook I stay quiet about, but not this!! I’m warning you: THIS IS NOT OF GOD!!! Avatars have been here for thousands of years, so just because it’s popular on the internet, doesn’t make it safe.

Lastly, I can only warn you: I’m not scolding you, yelling at you, but simply warning you. IT’S NOT OF GOD !!! It must be renounced, confessed as sin, and commanded to leave. Please take heed.

This is any type bitmoji too.

Dream Catchers Are Witchcraft

This is definition: Dream catchers were hung above the beds of sleeping children to protect them from bad dreams and evil spirits. Legends held that the spider web design of the dream catcher would allow good dreams to pass through and float down the hanging beads and feathers to sleeping childrenSounds innocent and that it would do good. But where in the Bible does it say to make one of these? The biggest clue is always line things up with the word of God. There’s no where it says make this particular object to ward off evil spirits. It is an object if the occult.Occult means something hidden. What’s hidden is the demonic presence they carry. The only power the enemy has is what we give him. Having these objects are point of contact for demons to enter your room or car where you’ve placed them. They are made to catch bad dreams. It is witchcraft to use any object that is unbiblical to catch dreams. You may say well it’s just cool looking I don’t believe it can do that so it’s ok. Well, it is what it is and even if you pray over it won’t change it.It’s like having a buddah and trying to redeem the idol. The dream catcher is a form of idol too. Anything of the occult is hidden because whats behind it is the devil. Why be concerned? The only power the devil has is what we give him. You could actually have the opposite and it could curse you to have bad dreams. So many people hang these in their cars you may not be sleeping there but carrying an accursed thing is never good for you spiritually. Here’s a link to Native American history of their religion it’s very different from Christianity: http://nationalhumanitiescenter.org/tserve/eighteen/ekeyinfo/natrel.htm
Knowing it is a practice from this culture why what you practice anything outside of Christianity? You might think well I innocently had this object so God won’t judge me. Why would you want anything to do with witchcraft in your car? You know now after reading this. It’s why I share because people perish for lack of knowledge. We all need to do spiritual house cleaning. I’ve prayed in tongues at times and the Lord has shown me things that have crept in. I urge you to do the same pray in tongues seek the Lord about your home and car. Are there any objects unpleasing to God?Here’s an article on why scripturally we should have no accursed thing:https://quod.lib.umich.edu/e/evans/N12472.0001.001/1:3?rgn=div1;view=fulltext#:~:text=Thou%20canst%20not%20stand%20before,sin%2C%20verse%2020%2C%2021.&text=They%20must%20take%20away%20this,to%20stand%20before%20their%20enemies.

Are We Carnal and Bewitched?

Galatians 3:1
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard a Christian radio host talking about his son watching videos of strangers opening pokemon cards. He said his son had watched for three hours at a time.

Many years ago I saw a glimpse of pokemon and it looked so demonic I would have stayed away for that alone. But I researched and found out there were many demonic powers this little yellow creature possessed. One of those was psyshic.

Why would anyone Christian touch anything demonic like that?

I’ve seen in several Christian homes objects of occult and new age. Are people perishing for lack of knowledge?

A Pastor wasn’t aware of the dangers of acupuncture telling a woman it was ok as long as she didn’t fully connect with it. I wasn’t sure what he meant but I wonder if he knew how dangerous it was if he would have changed his stance?

We are to be innocent of evil but could they be opening themselves up to evil without knowing it?

Maybe the body of Christ isn’t aware of the dangers of being unified with the world? King Solomon was very wise but yet he took on false gods. All occult is from false religions. They all are practices that should be avoided at all costs. God will have no other gods before him. And the main reason is all false religions have satan behind them being worshiped. Not a good thing at all. Wouldn’t you agree?

Then why aren’t they seeing it?

1 Corinthians 3

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your’s;

22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your’s;

23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

Could they be so innocent but yet so deceived?

How does that bewitchment come into a believer is it things they’ve never left? Or are these things they’ve pick up from the secularism carnal nature we all have.

There needs to be more teaching on concegreted sanctified lifestyles I presume.

🤔Hmmmm

What Is New Age/Occult? Why Is It So Dangerous?

Let me first start with this.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

These practices bring people into a non-biblical awareness of the esoteric. By adding to the bible they created a new doctrine and a false one. This has caused many churches to be Laeodacia churches, with the Lord who was once welcome there to be knoncking on their door to come back in. Churches are being fooled by the strange fire because it too has power. The occultic practices have replaced the biblical ones. The scripture Revelation 22:18 is very clear to not only steer clear but what will happen to you or your church if you do these things.

This alone should scare people from adding anything to the church or ministry of Christ. But many have been seduced led astray with false doctrines. I’ve heard preachers say, when I use these types of practices ministry is much faster. Beware! You are being deceived, speed was never an option with the ministry of Christ. It’s only God speed when the Lord chooses it to be.

God is mysterious and he will do what he chooses to do. This is why we are to seek his face. Yeshua(Jesus) said I do nothing but the will of my Father. That being said do you really think the Lord would want new age in his church? In order to seek his will and not miss the mark we must line everything up with his word of God.

Ephesians 1:9-12

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

The world is looking for answers most are looking in the wrong places. We must line our doctrines up with the Holy Bible. It is not only the oldest recorded word in history, it is the inspired word of God. The bible teaches us how to minister=help people. It teaches us how to pray and what we should be doing to see people set free or healed. Somehow the snake slithered his way into the church body and up to pulpits of many churches.

New Age is known as self help, making yourself into the great I am. I can do this without God, his word or prayer. I have a better way. It always stems from false religions or false doctrines. All of it has satan hidden behind it. The word occult means something hidden. Why would the devil want to hide behind these practices? He’s doing it to get you to indirectly worship him. The kingdom of darkness always mimics Gods. An example of this is when Moses threw down his staff it turned into a snake(well technically a crocodile, but we wont get into that now you may want to look into that). The pharisees threw down their staffs and they turned into snakes too. God’s snake ate all of their snakes, showing the higher power comes from God and that the kingdom of darkness has power too. Being that the enemy’s only power is what we give him. It makes sense he would be the author of confusion, creating false religions to hide himself behind to get worship. “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me” (Hebrew: לא יהיה־לך אלהים אחרים על־פני‬) is one of the Ten Commandments found in the Bible at Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. 3 Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 4 thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; 5 and showing mercy unto the thousandth generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments. {S} 6 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.

Deuteronomy 5:6 I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Having no god before him means worshiping him alone. When you practice these occultic practices it causes you to be worshiping false gods. How you say? Well, I’ll use yoga as an example. In yoga each movement is a prayer to hindu god. The word yoga actually means hindu practice. Now as a Christian we can not be a hindu, so anyone doing this is opening their life open to confusion along with demonic entities.
Here’s a list of other occultic and new age practices:

Occult-Practices

Be In Health -Occultism

Click link above to watch

Why are these practices so dangerous?

All of the above list may come across as innocent things, some present themselves as God sent things. and all are no doubt on my mind from the devil. Hebrews 2:14-15 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Occult activity rejects God’s will for mankind. Occult practice is hazardous because it is a violation of the will of God. It is forbidden by God and even pronounced to be an “abomination” to Him Deuteronomy 18:9-12 9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

The only power has is what we give him. If a person opens themselves up to any of these they will have a measure of grace from God to get it right. But if they continue in them they will in no doubt have demonic involvement of some sort. It will cause health issues or anxiety. Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

These 5 verses are giving all of us major warnings from the Lord on what specific areas of the occult that we are to avoid like the plague. To be forewarned is to be properly armed.

  • “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes His son or daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures up spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 18:10-13)
  • “And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them …” (Deuteronomy 4:19)
  • “Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.” (Leviticus 19:31)
  • “And the person who turns after mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.” (Leviticus 20:6)
  • “So Saul died for His unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord because He did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because He consulted a medium for guidance.” (1 Chronicles 10:13)

“Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.” —Hebrews 13:9

I personally renounced all practices I found the devil had duped me into dabbling in. I also went trough deliverance and healing too. I would say to anyone that has gotten involved please seek the Lord for guidance in removing any ungodly influences over your life.

Here are some steps you can take:

  • Confess the specific activity before God as a sin and ask for His forgiveness.
  • Renounce the specific activity before God and tell Him that you will never, ever participate in that activity again.
  • Burn or throw away all books, objects, or items associated with this activity.
  • Directly engage with the demons by speaking out loud to the them, telling them they no longer have any legal right to stay attached to you since the occult activity has now been fully confessed and fully renounced before God the Father.
  • Then command them to now leave you in the name of Jesus Christ and for them to never, ever come back on you again.

You should seek a full gospel church that may help you in deliverance from any thing that may have attached itself to you as a result of an open door with these activities.

Be blessed because we are victorious in Christ! Don’t allow the enemy to beat yourself up for being duped. It has happened to the best of us. It’s time for us to stop and be that pure bride he’s coming for.

Bethel Horror Story-Witchcraft In The Church-Don’t Be Duped!

jesus culture

Above is a picture of Bethel students continue reading  to find out what they are doing. My hope in sharing this is that people would pray for them to stop this insanity! Love them even if they are purposely doing this to harm the body of Christ. I believe they can be redeemed.

Let me first say I was duped myself. Thought this was one of the most amazing ministries on the planet. I was seriously mistaken!

In 2008 I was a part of the Lake Land Revival. There were true miracles going on but there was also great error. I got acquainted with the ministry of Bill Johnson and many others that were under a leader Bob Jones. The Prophetic leader had been over ministries  such as Ihop in Kansas w/Mike Bickle,Rick Joyner, Todd Bently, Patricia King, click herePatricia King video for video on Patricia Kings to see warning of occult practices.  Joann McFadden, all associated with Extreme Prophetic most on Elijah’s List are also ministries you should beware of.  I can honestly say stay away from all of them!

During the revival 2008 I noticed a lot of strange things going on but kept about my Father’s business minded my own about the strangeness. The Lord brought me out to the revival to pray for people. I prayed with many others like me we saw miracles. I was part of the ministry team there so I know God was moving. But, what I saw was two kingdoms working through Todd Bently which brought the revival to an end. He was flowing in the Holy Ghost and was no doubt gifted of God, the gifts do come without repentance tho. People were being healed in Yehsua’s(Jesus) name. Todd never mentioned his angels that guided him or spoke out of term with the word of God from what I remembered. There was a major shift in July that caused everything to stop. He came out publicly about his affair with the families nanny and left his wife. He was also water baptizing people in the  name of sheikaboomba. It was funny at the time but now I see it was blasphemy. The tents market place was growing as big as the revival tent and the power inside the tent diminished greatly from it too. I was learning that Todd practiced yoga and was adding more and more tattoos to his body. Years after the revival I saw Todd in Sacramento, CA  he was still following in the two kingdoms. The first night he preached directly from the word and I was touched by God. The next night Todd was preaching about mantles and that his wife had reached a turquoise mantle and pointed to his neck the level she was at. It clicked immediately what he  was talking about! Chakras! this is an occultic hindu practice channeling energies up the spine. He was teaching it as if it was biblical. All occultic practices are from false religions and all false religions have false gods the false god is satan! That night there were no doubt in my mind witches doing some kind of ritualistic dance in the worship. As soon as they finished their chanting and dancing they left didn’t even stay for the word. The next weekend the church that had Todd Bently preach had Jason Westerfield  my friends told me he was teaching that we  no longer have to repent to back to the seed of Adam but we need to repent to the cosmos. I asked my friend if that sounded wrong to her? She said it made total sense . I thought to myself dear Lord how could that seem remotely biblical to anyone? She mentioned other crazy things he shared about spending time with scientists and  spoke about aliens. I read an article that even Bill Johnson rebuked him. So I do question is Bill Johnson in great error and not seeing it or all of them deceiving people purposely?

Bill Johnson and others from his ministry flew in from CA for the 2008 revival. I had the opportunity to see him minister and hear him preach. I found out years later visiting his church I was deceived by his ministry. A friend of mine was a student there and told me to come out they were having miracles. It was right after the storm Sandy hit NY. I got very ill from the storm and needed healing. So I decided to go out there and see what God was doing. The morning of the flight I was praying in tongues and heard don’t go! I told my friend she said “Honey you’re in too much fear it’s not God telling you not to go it’s the devil” It was 23 degrees that day dropping down to 15. I thought California sounded really good at least for the weather. I went and what I went through I believe was so crazy I had to share with all of you. My flight was blessed was so excited when I got to Redding. My friend picked us up at the airport and brought us to the house we were renting a room from. Things didn’t seem so off at first but not too long did it take me to understand something was very wrong. People I met were very out there the f bomb was commonly dropped from numerous amounts of people that claimed to attend the church regularly. I wondered right away why weren’t people being transformed? I was there for a couple of months to have been able to see a lot. The second woman I rented from told me she prayed to satan to be well endowed when she was a little girl. She had a strange looking poster in her room that looked demonic. But claimed to be a woman of God? I asked her why she prayed to satan. She told me she didn’t know any better. As a child I would never have thought to pray to the devil because I wasn’t taught about him much. Maybe she had an exposure to the devil and might have still been involved with him? The first night I was there she made me tea and I was up all night having strange dreams. Soon after I started having anxiety and was calling the prayer line at the church asking them to pray with me to know the will of God. The first time I called the person told me the will of God was whatever I desired. I was so thrown off because what would even be the purpose of seeking God if it didn’t make a difference what God thought. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing the mark being out there. So I called again got another person telling me the exact thing. Called the next day another person again the same thing it’s whatever you desire we don’t even have to seek God it’s what we desire it’s his will. This must have been one of the false doctrines they were teaching? Then I was going up to their Pastoral counseling center getting prayer and I shared with the Pastor on call I was having anxiety and that I hadn’t felt like that since I came away from occultism. She asked me what I did in the occult I shared I was doing yoga. She stopped me saying oh no yoga is not occult I practice it myself. I told her each movement was a prayer to a hindu god and she said God was still using it in her life. She was able to take things and let God use them for her. There was no reaching her with the truth at that point. I was really puzzled at that point how was she on Pastoral care there and no one told her about the occult? It became creepier and creepier the more I got to know more of the leaders there. A woman that was running their disciple program rebuked me for being in the Bible so much. I asked her if she read the Bible daily and she said she no longer had to read it the Bible was already in her. I thought maybe it’s just her. This woman was the head of their discipleship program. Then I met the head of the prayer team that told me I needed to stop reading the Bible and going to conferences and just go get an ice cream cone. These people were leadership I was rebuked for reading the Bible. No wonder all the witches were so comfortable in that church! It got even worse I was invited to a drum ceremony at there prayer center. What I heard outside that building was so satanic I didn’t dare enter the building.  When I finally got away from this environment I had many people telling me about others having horrible anxiety after being there too. And someone shared this video with me showing them laying on graves trying to get the anointing from the dead. click here Andrew Stromto see Andrew Storms video on Bethel

Could all of the error have come down through Mr. Bob Jones? I read articles about him manipulating women sexually for prophetic words. He repented when he was exposed. This does set off an alarm with major red flags. But what made me upset was his occultic influence on his followers. I was invited to see JoAnn McFadden in Colorado she was teaching everyone about quantum physics. Everything she described made me cringe in my seat as I heard the false doctrine being taught. At the end I was able to talk to her about it. I told her I had come out of new age occult and everything she was teaching was straight from their false doctrine. She said ” Bob Jones taught this to me and he’s a prophet of God” I grabbed her hand and asked her if I could pray. She said “Yes” and my prayer was” Abba Father if I’m wrong about this and there’s something you want me to see convict me if my sister JoAnn is wrong I ask you to convict her in Yehsua’s name” She thanked me for praying. I did further studies and found that this quantum physics thing  was no doubt not of God. Anything focusing on energy force more than the word of God is red flag lifter. The founder – Ludwig Boltzmann was an atheist along with other of the quantum mechanics practicing it too. So ask yourself this question were they inspired by the Holy Spirit in any way? The fact that I was being lead to the leader Bob Jones recommended his leaders teach this occult practice raised even more flags. Are these people following him satanists/ wolves in sheep’s clothing or just misguided Christians?

I hope what I’ve shared opens eyes because so many are blindly following and allowing witchcraft in their churches. I won’t even listen to their worship anymore. If they are practicing occult and preaching false doctrine that unholy fire gets into their worship too. This means Jesus Culture is no bueno too because they come out of Bethel! The definition of culture is -the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively. Sounds like flesh to me and man leaning on their own understanding collectively. Use wisdom folks do your own research make your own assessment. Take this warning serious it could save your eternal life. Following false doctrines is being lead away by seducing spirits.

2 Timothy 4:3-5

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
