It’s None Of My Business

When more than one person comes to you with words that were spoken from a naysayer. Let the naysayers nay say. They are used of the devil to distract you. The only way they can get to you is it your pride is wounded. I know what they say may hurt you. But it’s more your ego being wounded.

Jesus kept walking with the heavy cross on his shoulder as they screamed at him obscenities and all kinds of false accusations. He kept going to his final destination. If he lost his focus dropped the cross tried to defend himself Or took the time to retort or retaliate he never would I’ve made it to where he was supposed to be.

Recently it was continuously brought to my attention that there were people talking about me in a very negative way. The same people have talked about many others. They have their critical judgments and self-righteousness where they feel that I’m not good enough to do what I do. But all glean from what I’m doing. The enemy will use anything to stop you even your peers. I’ve prayed for better friends truer friends. But God wants me to be faithful to the ones I have now. There are times when you are more friend to someone then they are to you. You have to be ok with that. Let Jesus be your best friend so you can both laugh and what the devil is trying to use against you.

So if I get caught up in what they have to say I’m not doing what I have to do because I’m distracted and thinking of how it is I could defend myself.

When I was getting upset about the things I heard. I prayed God what is it and why is it they were saying these things. He showed me they are jealous and we’re not mature enough do you understand me. That I could continue to sow my seeds into their lives without taking any mind to their negativity.

Basically, I was to ignore them just like Jesus did when the crowd screaming at him. None of us have had the battles Jesus has had. So why should we gripe? It’s just like with a bully you have to ignore what they are doing for them to stop. When your focus is so forward what’s beside you if it’s not guiding you to where you need to be it needs to be ignored.

We are to cast our cares on the Lord so take what they say to the cross bring them to Gods attention. Take nothing they say personally. Be about the Lords business. When you do even your enemies will be at peace with you.

Jesus Took The Wheel

Driving on the interstate at the speed limit 70, it’s rather fast to have a blowout with a tire. When it happened I had no clue why I was losing control of my car. I instinctly knew how to pull the steering wheel to keep it on the road. But I know I wasn’t alone holding on to that wheel.

A friend was driving ahead I called her to tell her I almost lost control on the road. I wasn’t sure what was wrong with my car I needed to pull over to the shoulder. I asked her to get off the nearest exit that was coming up. She told me there was a truck there at that exit. When I got there I couldn’t go any further because of the truck.

I stopped my SUV to get out and saw my tire was torn to shreds. And that it blew off the trim. I was a little in shock never knew a tire blowout could cause so much damage.

I ran over to the truck asked the man if he could help me. He was a very nice man came right over. He asked if I had a spare tire. I told him I have a doughnut but I’m not sure how to get to it. My friend called as he and I tried to figure out where the doughnut might be. She said she was turning around at the next exit to come back to where I was. I told her the truck driver is helping me put doughnut on. She said that’s great are you witnessing to him. Because my phone was on speaker I saw him look up as she said that. I said I was about to. I told him I don’t know if you believe in God but theses no conisidence you were stuck here on the side of road near to where I had my blow out.

He nodded and started to pretend he didn’t understand English very well. My friend pulled up behind me as he and I were removing things from my trunk to find the place to get the doughnut out. We found my jack and an instruction booklet that showed in illustration a key to unlock the area where my doughnut was. He started speaking very clear English. I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to tell him I knew he spoke perfect English. The reason he was pretending was because he didn’t want to talk to God. He smiled. I said you are away from God because your father is a preacher and you judge his life as ungodly. He perked up and looked amazed I knew his story. My friend asked him is she telling the truth is your dad a preacher? He said yes he preaches in Miami. I told him that most of the trip I was praying in tongues. It was the reason Jesus took the wheel when my car had the blowout. I felt I wasn’t steering it on my own. It also was the reason I knew what to say to him. He told me you can’t drive too far on a doughnut you’ll have to get a tire. He helped me load my things back in my trunk. I grabbed a Bible track on the father’s love in Spanish for him. I offered him some money. He refused so I grabbed a little car vacuum my Aunt had given to me for his truck he said thank you. I said God the father loves you so much he used my tire blowing off to reach you. He wants you to know he’s here for you. Your dad may not represent him correctly but he’s still your Father in heaven and loves you very much. He wants a relationship with you again. He hugged me gave me a kiss on the cheek. Then hugged my friend gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked away because it was starting to rain. The Lord even held back the rain for us until we were finished putting spare on.

I knew the whole encounter was a complete set up from God. It helped me not to freak out so much about what happened to my car. The Lord reminded me I’ve been praying for a camper conversation van or an RV so I had that to look forward to.

Thank Jesus for taking the wheel!
