Most know this scripture:

John 3:16

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

When Tim Tebow had black stripes under his eyes with 3:16. The verse gained popularity amoungst the unbelievers. Many looked up this verse. It’s a scripture of hope for us all. But, the sad reality many will perish for lack of knowledge not understanding the true meaning of it.

The word believe means to have confidence in or put trust in. In today’s day and age are we seeing much trust with this covid disease? Or circumstances with all of the natural calamities happening?

Could this lack of believing be because there isn’t a conversion described in the scripture:

John 3:3

³ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Being born again means you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Once this happens you become a true believer and have the confidence you need in God to not live in fear of facing challenges of the day.
