Proverbs 18:7

⁷ A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

Have you ever said something and it came to pass or spoke about a situation and it only got worse?

Our mouths can get us in trouble. The less said the better.

Have you ever said anything you regretted to someone? You can’t take those words back.

Words have power give them careful consideration.

Start taking thoughts captive

2 Corinthians 10:5

⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Bad thoughts can produce bad words.

Take words captive. Hold your tongue as much as you can.
